As I read your words, I’m reminded of the age when Gandhi walked the land in India. The turmoil experienced by the people at the hands of the British. But then a day came and the oppressors were speaking of letting go of what was never theirs. Hope filled the air, a time was coming that all of India would be set free… but this day too passed. For it was the darkness within so many a men’s heart continuing to hold them captive as they lashed out one to another over religion and land that the word freedom was still just that… a word. And so, with you I too have hope that one day, we will all realize the peace we so earnestly seek and do not find, is not outside of us, but within. As Gandhi said, ‘The only devils in this world are those running around in our own hearts, and that is where all our battles should be fought”.
One by one, little by little, the molehill becomes a mountain.
